By News Staff

A 20-year-old man has died just under a week after a triple shooting in north Etobicoke.

Toronto police say it happened at a plaza at Rowntree Road and Kipling Avenue, just north of Finch Avenue West around 9 p.m. on Dec. 21.

Officers found three injured males, one with life-threatening injuries, as well as a BMW riddled with bullets. Two of the men, aged 19 and 20, were in the vehicle when they were shot while a 51-year-old man, who was in the area, was also struck.

On Thursday, the 20-year-old died of his injuries in hospital. He has been identified as Cimran Farah of Toronto.

Investigators are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnesses the shooting to contact police. There is no word on any suspects at this time.

Farah is Toronto’s 96th homicide of the year. More than half of the murders have been shootings.
