RIP. As of late, 407 has become as dangerous as other 400 series highways. People drive either too fast or too slow.

@Alpha_Mora: It’s not the highway that is dangerous. It’s the people who feel that everyone else should get out of their way, they ignore or forget the rules of driving in general. Using cell phones etc. Its a recipe for disaster and we are seeing it everyday now. People just don’t get it. If everyone just follows the basic rules, we wouldn’t have nearly as many issues as we do. Keep right except to pass, Check before changing lanes. Even pedestrians. They don’t even know how to look both ways before crossing (Never mind they are wearing all black clothing). This attitude and the fact that people are not taught how to drive defensively is the problem. People thinking because they drive an SUV makes them safer. This kind of attitude is causing these issues on the roads. As Selena Chan also says…just wait until there is snow. All these idiots on the road are also causing us to lose money. Insurance rates are high because of these idiots. Driving slow is definitely not good, but the speed limit is a maximum, not a minimum. If you are going to drive slower than 80 on a 100km/hr road, then don’t get on the highway, but if you do, keep right except to pass. It’s really simple.
