Man in his 60s killed after being struck by vehicle in Scarborough

A man in his 60s has died after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough Tuesday evening.
Toronto police were called to the scene at Midland and Dorcot Avenues around 7:30.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene.
The intersection is closed as police investigate. The vehicle involved remained at the scene.
Two other pedestrians were killed on GTA streets on Tuesday. A 79-year-old woman died after being struck by vacuum truck in Malton around 2 p.m. and a woman was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Mississauga at 7:45 p.m.
