1 man shot during altercation in North York

One man was taken to a trauma centre after a shooting in North York on Wednesday night.
Police responded to a call shortly before 9 p.m. in the Jane Street and Beverly Hills Drive area.
They say a man was shot during the course of an altercation. His injuries were described as non-life threatening.
There is no information about a suspect or suspects at this time.
Police are canvassing the area and an investigation is ongoing.
