Carjacking suspect charged after vehicle, 96-year-old passenger located in Oakville

Peel police say they have charged the suspect in a carjacking Mississauga
Police responded to a call for a carjacking at a plaza at North Service and Dixie roads shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday.
The driver of a blue Toyota Sienna van stepped out of the vehicle and, soon after, saw a man get in and drive away.
Marjorie Thomas, 96, who uses a wheelchair, was in the vehicle when the suspect took off.
Police located the abandoned vehicle with Thomas inside around 3:15 p.m. in Oakville.
Several hours later Peel police said the suspect was in custody.
Nicholas Forbes, 30, of no fixed address has been charged with kidnapping, breach of probation and two counts of robbery.
