Woman wanted for arson in East York apartment building

Police are looking for a 50-year-old Toronto woman who allegedly set a fire in an East York apartment building.

It happened on the evening of Sept. 25 on Dawes Road, near Victoria Park Avenue.

Fire crews got a call about the fire around 5:50 p.m. and managed to put it out and contain the smoke. No one was injured.

They said the fire started in a garbage chute on the ninth floor.

Police believe the person responsible is Dianna Carroll, and they have released her photo.

She is wanted for arson and failing to comply with probation.
