By News Staff

Toronto police have released photos of multiple men wanted in connection with an attempted murder investigation in the Annex.

Police say two groups of men got into a fight over a spilt drink at a pub on Madison Avenue and Bloor Street on Sept. 23 around 2:00 a.m.

Both groups were kicked out of the pub and they went to a nearby parking lot.

Police say a 27-year-old-man was stabbed by another man and was repeatedly punched and kicked in the head by others in the group.

While the victim was on the ground, police say a man picked up a large boulder and slammed it down on him. The victim suffered life threatening injuries as a result.

Police have released several security camera images of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Toronto police immediately.
