Two Toronto men are facing a total of 20 charges in connection with a firearms investigation.

Police say a search of a downtown apartment on Saturday turned up a loaded .40 calibre Glock pistol, over 50 rounds of ammunition, a quantity of cash and narcotics.

Among the drugs seized is what police believe to be “purple heroin” which is generally comprised of heroin, fentanyl, morphine and in some cases carfentanil, which is 100 times more powerful than fentanyl.

Sam Donaldson, 28, and Kalenda Kalonji, 29, face a number of firearm and drug possession charges.
