2 males injured in Willowdale stabbing

Toronto police say two males have been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Willowdale.

Officers were called to Yonge Street and Empress Avenue just after 8:30 p.m. Monday evening.

Paramedics tell CityNews one of the victims is believed to be a 16-year-old. He suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to a trauma centre.

The second victim, a male in his 20s, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

There is no word on any suspects at this time.
