Boy suffers minor injuries after hit-and-run in the Junction

Toronto police say a boy has been taken to hospital after being struck in the Junction.

Officers were called to the area of Dundas Street and Gilmour Avenue just after 1:30 p.m.

The young boy, believed to be between five and eight years old, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police say the vehicle involved, believed to be a white SUV, did not remain on the scene.
