Motorcyclist dead after crash near High Park

A motorcyclist has died and a woman is in life-threatening condition after a crash near High Park early Saturday morning.
Police responded to a call for a collision in the Indian Valley Crescent and Parkside Drive area around 2:40 a.m.
Police say a 27-year-old man was driving a BMW southbound while another man was driving a Harley Davidson motorcyle with a female passenger northbound on Parkside Drive when the two collided.
The 45-year-old motorcyclist was transported to hospital without vital signs and was later pronounced dead.
The 27-year-old female passenger on the motorcycle suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
The driver of the BMW remained at the scene of the crash.
No word if charges will be laid at this time.
Police are looking to speak with the driver and occupants of a vehicle that was travelling northbound on Parkside, directly in front of the motorcycle at the time of the crash
Anyone with dash-cam or security camera footage of the incident is asked to contact police.
