In photos: Another round of heavy rain hits GTA

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for the GTA Tuesday, before another quick and fierce round of rainfall drenched the region. Thereafter the warning was downgraded to a thunderstorm watch.
This is the third round of heavy rain in just over two weeks, with previous downpours causing flooding and widespread damage across the region.
The City of Toronto advised residents to take extra precautions both to protect their property and while travelling.
The rain didn’t last very long but GTA residents captured some of the soaking and the rainbow that followed in photos and videos from their neighbourhoods:
