Male suffers lower body gunshot wound in shooting near Don Mills and Eglinton

Toronto police say a male victim has suffered a lower body injury after a shooting near Don Mills and Eglinton.

Officers were called to the area of St Dennis Drive and Deauville Lane to reports of 5-6 gunshots just after 10 p.m. on Monday.

A male victim was located with a gunshot wound to his lower body. He has been taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

No word on any suspects at this point and police continue to investigate the incident.
