Police release video of brazen daylight sex assault in Aurora

York Region police have released security video of a man appearing to sexually assault a woman while she mows her lawn.
Police say it happened Saturday around 3:30 p.m. near Bayview Avenue and Wellington Street East in Aurora.
The video shows a man sneak up behind a woman as she’s cutting her grass. The man pulls his shorts down and pulls the woman towards him.
The woman turns and pushes him away. They briefly exchange words before the man walks away.
He’s described as a white man with short, sandy-brown hair and a medium build. He was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.
