Motorcyclist killed in Vaughan crash

A 22-year-old motorcyclist from Toronto is dead following a crash in Vaughan.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Highway 7 and Vaughan Valley Boulevard, just east of Highway 27, around 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police said the motorcycle crashed into a tractor-trailer.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck remained on scene.
Speed is being investigated as a factor in the crash.
Highway 7 was closed in the area for the majority of the night while police investigated. The highway reopened just before 6 a.m.
