2 arrested, 2 suspects at large in Brampton fatal shooting

Two men have been arrested and two other suspects are still being sought after a fatal shooting in Brampton on Monday evening.

Peel police were called to a home on Donwoods Court, in the area of Airport Road and Countryside Drive in Brampton, just after 6 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Palwinder Singh, 27 of Brampton.

Sean Ponto, 18, and Andrew Edward, 19, both from Mississauga, surrendered to police and are facing first-degree murder charges.

Police are still searching for two male suspects.

One of them is in his early 20s, five feet eight inches tall, 150 pounds, with a medium complexion, short black curly hair, and a black beard. At the time, he was wearing a light blue hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes.

The second suspect is five feet six inches tall and 160 pounds, with a dark complexion and was clean shaven. He was wearing a black hoodie, black bandana and sunglasses.

This is Peel’s 16th homicide of the year.
