Toronto police have released photos of two suspects, including a 16-year-old boy, wanted for first-degree murder after two Toronto rappers were gunned down outside a downtown nightclub on June 30.

Police say they received judicial authorization to identify and release a photo of Keyshawn Jones, 16, (pictured above) of Toronto. He’s wanted on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

Police earlier identified and released a photo of a second suspect — 22-year-old Abdulkadir Handule (pictured below) of Toronto. He is also wanted for two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. in front of the Cube nightclub at Queen and Peter streets.

Police said two men, one in his 20s, were taken to hospital in critical condition. One man was pronounced dead on scene while the second victim succumbed to his injuries the next morning. A woman in her 30s was seriously injured but investigators said she was expected to survive.

Police identified the victims as 21-year-old aspiring rapper Jahvante “Smoke Dawg” Smart and 28-year-old rapper Ernest “Koba” Modekwe.
