Peel Regional Police have arrested a 17-year-old wanted in the death of a Mississauga man at a post-graduation house party.

He was arrested with assistance from Saskatchewan RCMP on Wednesday.

Police say the teen has been charged with second degree murder and assault causing bodily harm in the death of Daniel Smith back in May.

Smith was fatally stabbed while trying to break up a fight during a party at a home on Meadowvale West in the area of Tradewind Drive and Winston Churchill Boulevard.

Two other teens have already been arrested in connection with the case, a 16-year-old who faces a second-degree murder charge as well as assault causing bodily harm. Noor Mohamed, 18, is also charged with accessory after fact to murder.

The teenager is expected to appear in court to answer to the charges.
