Police identify victims in Rexdale homicide

Toronto police have identified they city’s 45th and 46th homicide victims who died after a shooting in Rexdale early Sunday morning.

Police were called to Lightwood Drive and Sanagan Road in the area of Albion Road and Kipling Avenue just after 2 a.m. after multiple shots were fired into a home.

Investigators say two suspects reportedly knocked on the door and when one of the victims answered the door, shots were fired.

Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Post postmortems conducted on Monday confirmed both men died of gunshot wounds.

The victims have been identified as Patrick McKenna, 20 and Dalbert Allison, 40, both from Toronto. Police have released photos of both men.

Investigators describe one suspect as a man last seen wearing a black top and red track pants. His face was concealed by either a mask or a hood. There is no description available for the second suspect at this time.
