Man dies after being struck by car in Forest Hill

A 72-year-old man has died in hospital after he was struck by a car in Forest Hill over the weekend.
Just before 1 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Eglinton Avenue West and Castle Knock Road, near Avenue Road.
They say a Volvo was travelling west on Eglinton when it hit the man.
Paramedics say the man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
The driver, a 53-year-old woman, remained at the scene. There is no word on charges.
