Man, 73, dies after hit by car at Yonge and Lawrence

A 73-year-old man has died in hospital after he was hit by a car in the Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue area earlier this week.
Police were called to the scene around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
An 89-year-old man was driving north on Yonge when he hit the man who was crossing Lawrence.
The pedestrian was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
The driver remained on scene.
Police are asking anyone who may have security or dashcam video of the incident to contact them.
