Suspect arrested after 2 people stabbed in North York

Two people were injured and a male suspect was taken into police custody after a stabbing in North York.

It happened in the area of Lawrence Avenue West and Keele Street shortly after 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Toronto police say they received multiple calls about a person with a knife on the sidewalk outside a business.

Two victims were found with injuries and one of them was taken to hospital, but it’s not known how serious the injuries were.

Police arrested a male suspect was, but so far, no charges have been laid.
