Woman dies after being hit by pickup truck in Brampton

A woman in her 70s has died after she was hit by a pickup truck in Brampton on Thursday morning.
It happened shortly before 8:30 a.m. at Rosepac Avenue and Conestoga Drive, near Bovaird Drive East and Kennedy Road North.
Paramedics took the woman to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and she later died.
Police have not released the woman’s name but say the victim is a 73-year-old from Hamilton.
They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashboard video footage of the incident to contact them.
