London firefighters battle 3-alarm blaze in frigid temps

Firefighters in London, Ont. battled a three-alarm blaze at a marine and motor-sports store early Thursday morning.

In video posted to social media, flames appear to be shooting from the roof of Hully Gully, near Wharncliffe Road and Wonderland Road in southwest London.

The temperature at the time of the fire Thursday morning was about –19 C.

“Due to the quick action of the London fire department, there were no injuries and our guard dog is safe,” store owners, Randy and Audrey Collins, said in a statement.

There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
