A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Little India last weekend.
The teen, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been been charged with 10 offences including possession of a firearm, mischief endangering life, intimidation by violence, and fail to comply with recognizance.
He was arrested on Thursday and was scheduled to appear in court later in the day.
Police released his name and photo on Tuesday after granting judicial authorization to do so. However, that authorized has since expired due to his arrest.
The shooting happened in the Woodfield Road and Gerrard Street East area around 6:45 a.m. on Sunday. Police say a group of males fired a gun into a house.
Luckily, no one was injured.
Two other males teens, aged 16 and 17, were previously arrested. They’re facing a slew of charges, including discharge firearm with intent to wound or endanger life, intimidation, and mischief endangering life, among others.
