Peel police probing fatal Mississauga hit and run

Peel police are investigating after a fatal hit and run in Mississauga on Tuesday.
Police say a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Dixie Road at Rathburn Road East.
The driver failed to remain at the scene.
The victim was rushed to hospital but didn’t survive.
Dixie Road has been closed between Burnhamthorpe Road East and Rathburn Road East in both directions. Police are advising drivers to avoid the area as they conduct an investigation.
