Two people killed in three car crash in Vaughan

Two people are dead and four others injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Vaughan.

York Region Police say three vehicles collided Saturday afternoon around 5 p.m. in the Rutherford Road and Highway 50 area.

A passenger in a black Audi, a 27-year-old man from London, Ont., was killed while the driver of a Honda CRV, a 61-year-old man from Brampton, also succumbed to his injuries after being transported to hospital.

Four other people were taken to hospital, including the driver of the Audi who suffered life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the third vehicle involved in the crash suffered only minor injuries.
