2 injured as SUV crashes into Richmond Hill bus stop

Two women are in hospital after an SUV crashed into a bus shelter in Richmond Hill.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The two victims were standing at a bus shelter on Bathurst Street near Augustine Avenue, south of King Road, when the vehicle jumped the curb, smashed into the shelter and ended in a ditch.
One of the victims suffered serious to critical injuries. The other suffered moderate injuries.
Bathurst has been closed from Kingshill Road to King Road as police continue to investigate.
