Driver accused of intentionally hitting 3 pedestrians in North York identified

Toronto police have identified the driver accused of intentionally hitting three pedestrians in North York on Tuesday night.

Police say 29-year-old Randy Amofa is wanted on 10 charges including attempted murder.

Police say they were initially called to the area of Allenbury Garden and Kingslake Road around 10 p.m. on Tuesday after someone reported hearing the sound of gunshots. When they arrived, they discovered three people had been struck by a car which then fled the scene.

One of the three people hit was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

Police say Amofa was driving a gold or brown BMW sedan.
