Man sought after 2 women attacked in Leslieville area

Police are looking for a 27-year-old Toronto man accused of attacking two women near Gerrard Street East and Jones Avenue over the past several weeks.
Around 9 a.m. on May 29, the man allegedly followed a 25-year-old woman down an alley, slashed her with a knife and fled.
Then around 7:50 p.m. on June 13, the man confronted another 25-year-old woman who was walking with her daughter.
It’s alleged he punched, kicked and choked her and stole her necklace and other items. He fled on a bike.
Both women were treated in hospital and released.
Police said they are looking for a man named Kevan Anderson. He is black, five-foot-nine, with an average build and dark hair. He has a scar on his lip and an “RIP Dylan” tattoo on his arm.
He could be armed and dangerous. If you see him, call 911 and do not approach.
