Toronto doctor charged with sex assault downtown

A doctor from a downtown medical clinic has been arrested for sexual assault, police say.
The assault allegedly happened at 720 Spadina Avenue.
A female reports she was sexually assaulted during treatment by the accused.
The age of the alleged victim or circumstances of the assault were not made public.
Police charged Dr. Stephen Strigler, 57, of Toronto, with one count of sexual Assault on Monday.
Strigler is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Friday, August 4.
