Man shot outside Brampton lounge identified

Peel police have identified a 23-year-old man who was shot and killed during a fight outside a lounge in Brampton early Saturday morning.
Jordan Buchner lived in the GTA, police said Monday. No other information about Buchner was released.
Police say they responded to the call around 3 a.m. on Saturday. Buchner was found with a gunshot wound outside Masta’s Lounge near Orenda Road and West Drive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim had minor injuries.
Early last year, Britton Edwards, 22, was at a birthday party at the same venue when he was also shot and killed in the parking lot.
“I would hope that my son’s case is still at the forefront,” said Edwards’ mother Lynn Thoms. “I won’t let it be turned into a cold case. My son was loved and he is still loved, and we miss him every moment of the day.”
