Police arrest 21-year-old wanted in Oshawa stabbing

Police in Durham Region have arrested a 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a stabbing at an Oshawa high school earlier in the week.
On Thursday, a 17-year-old suffered a minor knife wound to his side following an altercation in the parking lot of Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School
Police say the suspect was spotted by a member of the public on a GO train in Whitby on Saturday. He was arrested without incident at the Pickering GO stop.
Randy Chessman has been charged with assault, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of weapons dangerous.
