A 19-year-old man is in stable condition in hospital after he was shot outside a townhouse complex in Malvern.
Toronto police and paramedics were called to Empringham Drive, near Sewells Road, just before midnight on Monday.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was rushed to a trauma centre.
So far, there’s been no arrest and no description of a suspect.
The shooting happened at the same address on Empringham where a dog was wounded after several shots were fired in late June. The dog’s injury wasn’t life-threatening. Children were playing outside at the time but none of them were injured.
It’s not yet known if the two incidents are connected.
