It's lit: In honour of 4/20, Toronto's top six stoner snacks

Think you know what munchies foods are a hit in the city? Prepare to be blown away.

A survey done by on-demand food delivery service foodora found that Mexican cuisine is king when it comes to satisfying Toronto’s munchies.

Tacos, nachos and burritos jointly made up for 32 per cent of the votes and each ranked second, third and sixth respectively.

Mexican food was also the most common choice of munchies-relief among 18 to 24-year-olds.

Pizza smoked the individual competition at 21 per cent. The cheesy dish claimed top spot and was a favourite among 24 per cent of female voters.

Men favoured fried chicken, which placed fifth overall.

1. Pizza – 21 per cent
2. Tacos – 12 per cent
3. Nachos – 12 per cent
4. Burger – nine per cent
5. Fried Chicken – eight per cent
6. Burrito – eight per cent
