A 20-year-old Richmond Hill man is facing a first-degree murder charge in his father’s death and the killing that may have been witnessed by other family members.
York regional police are not releasing the names of the accused or the 62-year-old victim to protect the identity of the witnesses.
Homicide officers were called to 118 Valleymede Dr., near Bayview Avenue and Highway 7, shortly after noon on Friday.
One person was arrested Friday. He is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday. No other suspects are being sought.
