Foam machine malfunctions at Pearson International Airport

By

If you were heading past Pearson International Airport on Saturday, we want to assure you that it wasn’t snowing.

Peel police say they were called after a foam machine used to combat large plane fires malfunctioned, creating about three football fields worth of foam that began to spill onto Derry Road.

Some areas were reportedly covered in about nine metres of the sudsy stuff.

Police confirm that there was no disruption to traffic, but there’s no word whether there was an impromptu Much Music Video Dance Party (TM).
