Woman stabbed in domestic-related incident in Rexdale

A male is in custody after a woman was stabbed in Rexdale.
The stabbing occurred at a home on Stallion Place, near Woodbine Centre in the Rexdale Boulevard and Highway 27 area, just before midnight on Thursday.
Toronto police say the stabbing was domestic, and the suspect has mental-health issues. Police have not confirmed his age.
Paramedics say a woman in her 50s was stabbed in the torso and suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
There is no word on charges.
