Severe thunderstorms roll through Toronto, parts of GTA

Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm warning for Toronto, Mississauga, and parts of the GTA, but not before a line of severe storms produced very strong winds, torrential rain, and hail.
Intermittent ground stops were also expected at Pearson International Airport due to the expected inclement weather. Click here to check flight schedules.
There were also reports of heavy flooding in parts of Markham, and hail in the Newmarket area.
