Interview: Premier Wynne discusses budget, Rob Ford & her future

After the Ontario Liberals’ budget was re-introduced at Queen’s Park on Monday, Premier Kathleen Wynne sat down for a one-on-one chat with 680News reporter Mark Douglas.

Wynne said she is ready to respond if the credit rating agencies don’t like this budget, adding her government is focusing on long-term investments to balance Ontario’s books for 2017-2018.

The premier also said she’s looking forward to a good working relationship with all Ontario cities, including Toronto — whether Mayor Rob Ford remains in office this fall or not.

Wynne was quick to step around the issue of her own future, only telling me for now, she’s focusing on her job of leading a majority government.
