Beyonce & Jay Z to bring ‘On the Run’ tour to Toronto on July 9

Pop star Beyonce and her husband, rapper Jay Z, will be bringing their joint On the Run Tour to Toronto this summer.
Concert promoter Live Nation said the powerhouse couple will hit the Rogers Centre stage on July 9.
So far, Toronto and Winnipeg are the only Canadian dates on the 16-city tour, which kicks off on June 25 in Miami.
Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday on Ticketmaster.ca.
This is Beyonce’s second visit to Toronto in just over six months.
She performed at the Air Canada Centre on Dec. 17, 2013, as part of her Mrs. Carter World Tour. She also played the ACC on July 21, 2013.
Jay Z was last in Toronto on Jan. 14 on the heels of the Grammy Awards, for a show at the ACC where he performed songs from his Grammy-nominated album Magna Carta. He also did a show with Justin Timberlake at the Rogers Centre in the summer of 2013, as part of their Legends of The Summer tour.
Beyonce and Jay Z celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary earlier this month. They were married on on April 4, 2008 in Paris.
