5 things to do this weekend: Easter parade, egg hunt & Ontario Place bike race

Easter parade: Line up early along Queen Street in the east end to catch a glimpse of the Easter bunny and the floats at this annual parade put on by the Toronto Beaches Lions Club that attracts some 50,000 people. Easter Egg-stravaganza: Take your kids to the Toronto Islands for the city’s largest Easter egg hunt at Centreville Amusement Park and Far Enough Farm this long weekend. April 18-20, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. $15: includes all rides and activities. centreisland.ca

All About Pets Show: Hundreds of vendors will be at this consumer pet show for animal lovers. Check out the many breeds of dogs, cats and exotic pets, as well as the talks by dog trainer Victoria Stilwell, America’s Veterinarian Marty Becker and other speakers. International Centre. Red Bull Race the Place: Spectators will be able to visit Ontario Place, which closed to the public two years ago, to watch the first-ever urban bike race around the grounds of this waterfront landmark. Racers will compete in the true fixed gear/track bike category and the open category. Saturday. Racers: $30. Spectators: free. redbull.com

Stunt dogs: Catch canines showing off their tricks at the Ultimutts Stunt Dog Show, which will feature feats of tightrope walking, handstands, skateboarding and more. PawsWay, 245 Queens Quay W. Sunday, 1-4p.m. Free. pawsway.ca
