TIMELINE: Murders linked to Dellen Millard

A man already accused in the death of Ancaster man Tim Bosma now faces two more murder charges.

On Wednesday, Dellen Millard, 27, was charged with the murders of missing woman Laura Babcock and his own father, Wayne Millard.

Below is a timeline of events in the case.

June 26, 2012: Babcock, 23, is last seen near Queen Street West and Roncesvalles Avenue in Toronto around 9 p.m.

July 14 2012: Babcock is reported missing.

Nov. 29, 2012: Police find the body of Wayne Millard in a Toronto home with a gunshot wound to the head. His death is later ruled a suicide.

May 6, 2013: Tim Bosma disappears while taking two men for a test drive of the Dodge Ram pickup truck he posted for sale online.

Police forces in Hamilton and Toronto and the OPP launch a joint investigation.

May 11, 2013: Dellen Millard is arrested and charged with forcible confinement and theft of a vehicle in connection with Bosma’s disappearance. Millard has been romantically linked to Babcock.

May 12, 2013: Police find Bosma’s pickup in Kleinburg, Ont., in a trailer registered to business owned by Dellen Millard. It was on the property of Madeleine Millard, the mother of the accused, but police say she has “no involvement or knowledge in this case.”

May 15, 2013: Police confirm the burned remains found on Millard’s Waterloo-area farm belong to Bosma. Millard is charged with first-degree murder.

May 21, 2013: Police reopen their investigations into Babcock’s disappearance and Wayne Millard’s death.

May 23, 2013: Police charge Mark Smich, 25, with first-degree murder in Bosma’s death.

April 9, 2014: Millard, 28, and Smich, 26, are charged with first-degree murder in Babcock’s death. Millard is also charged with first-degree murder in his father’s death.

April 10, 2014: Christina Noudga, 21, of Toronto is charged with accessory after the fact to murder in connection with Bosma’s death.
