National Home Show: Green thumbs needing a taste of spring can head to the National Home Show. This year, the expo will showcase an eco-friendly and high-tech home interactive exhibit. Water Docs Film Festival: Explore the great blue yonder at the Water Docs Film Festival. Guest filmmakers will hold discussions on their documentary features and shorts focusing on all things water. Art Gallery of Ontario. March 21-29. Prices vary with screenings and events. ecologos.ca/waterdocs

ROM centennial celebrations: The Royal Ontario Museum is celebrating its 100th birthday with a special feature called 100 Years of Collecting. Historians take note, on display will be a commemorative manuscript of Sit Edmund Walker’s opening day address. ROM. March 19 – 29. 35 years of the Ontario Black History Society: To mark 35 years of the Ontario Black History Society, an exhibit has been created at The Market Gallery displaying an overview of the OBHS’s impact since its inception.
