BC ticket takes $50M Lotto Max jackpot on 5th draw

There is one winning ticket for the $50-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw — and it was purchased somewhere in British Columbia.

The giant jackpot had gone unclaimed for four previous draws.

Tickets for 15 smaller prizes were sold in Ontario.

One Brampton ticket is worth $1-million, while three tickets from Burlington and Mississauga can claim $500,000 each.

A ticket sold in Toronto can claim $280,011 from the secondary prize pool.

And three tickets, two purchased in Toronto and one in Oakville, can claim $100,000 for the Encore draw.

The jackpot for next Friday’s draw will be approximately $43 million.
