Man, 46, dies in fatal Hwy. 427 crash

Ontario Provincial Police say a 46-year-old man from Etobicoke has died following a fatal single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning on the Highway 427 near Pearson airport.

A Dodge Caravan was travelling southbound on the Highway 427 at around 12:40 a.m. on Thursday when a vehicle slammed into the bullnose and rolled several times.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is not yet known.

The name of the driver will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.

The southbound lanes of the 427 were closed at Highway 409, but have since reopened.
