Victim named in triple shooting in Richmond Hill

Police have named one of two teens killed in a triple shooting in Richmond Hill on Wednesday.

Just after midnight, York Regional Police got a call about gunfire on Centre Street East, near Yonge and Major Mackenzie Drive.

When they arrived in the area, they found a car with three shooting victims inside.

A 15-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene and two Brampton men, 18 and 20 years old, were taken to hospital.

The 18-year-old, now identified as Premier Hoang, died in hospital. The other man is in critical condition and neither he nor the girl, his relative, have been named.

Autopsies will be done on Thursday.

Police said the shootings appear to be targeted and they believe at least two suspects are responsible.
