GTA warming centre locations after ice storm

Municipalities across the GTA have opened warming centres for residents still without power.

Dennis R Timbrell Community Centre, 29 St. Denis Dr. (Eglinton/Don Mills)
Joseph P Piccininni Community Centre, 1369 St Clair Ave. W. (St Clair/Keele)
Matty Eckler Community Centre, 953 Gerrard St. E. (Pape/Gerrard)
Edithvale Community Centre, 131 Finch Ave. W. (between Bathurst and Yonge)
Pleasantview Community Centre, 545 Van Horne Ave. (between Edmonton and Brian)
McGregor Park Community Centre, 2231 Lawrence Ave. E. (Lawrence/Kennedy)

Toronto Police have also opened warming centres in 13 of their buildings

23 Division, 5230 Finch Ave. W.
31 Division, 40 Norfinch Dr.

42 Division, 242 Milner Ave.
43 Division, 4331 Lawrence Ave. E.
51 Division, 51 Parliament St.
52 Division, 255 Dundas St. W.
Toronto Police College, 70 Birmingham St.
Toronto Police Service headquarters, 40 College St.


Al Palladini Community Centre, 9201 Islington Avenue
Garnet A. Williams Community Centre, 501 Clark Avenue West
Maple Community Centre, 10190 Keele Street
Vellore Village Community Centre, 1 Villa Royale Avenue

All centres are open until 11 p.m.
Residents requiring overnight shelter can call 905-832-2281 (press 0 for dispatch) to arrange accommodation.
