Police investigating after man forces his way into a Bowmanville home

Durham Regional Police are looking for a man who forced his way into a woman’s home in Bowmanville.
Police say the 71-year-old homeowner answered a knock at her door Wednesday evening and a man asked to use her telephone.
When she refused, police say he pushed past her into the home and grabbed some narcotics before running off.
Police say the senior wasn’t physically injured.
The suspect is described as: male, white, medium build with large lips. He was wearing a grey toque and a black wool coat.
