Woman sexually assaulted aboard TTC bus in Scarborough: Police

TORONTO – Toronto police say a woman was sexually assaulted aboard a TTC bus in Scarborough last week.

Police say on Oct. 3 around 12:30 a.m. a woman was seated aboard a TTC bus travelling on Lawrence Avenue East when a man sat next to her and sexually assaulted her.

The woman alerted the bus driver and the man fled the bus, according to police.

The man is described as brown, about 50 years old, five-foot-eight, 200 pounds, with grey-black short hair, and a mustache. He was last seen wearing dark-coloured pants, a beige sweater over a collared dress shirt and dark shoes.

Police have released a TTC security camera image of the suspect.
